Herkules is crafted from Cologne-malted barley, German noble hops, and a traditional Cologne ale yeast. Refreshing and malty with background notes reminiscent of white wine, it finishes dry and lager-like. Named after the enormous crane that looms over the Cologne harbor.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to stange.
Appearance: golden yellow in color with a good transparency about it; a two and a half fingers of white frothy head dissipated after a couple of minutes then left some light lace
Aroma: sweet hay/straw to floral hop tones; light cracker malt sweetness
Flavor: melds the prior noted aromas to a fine malty quality; finishes cracker malty with a touch of the floral hops
Texture: light to medium bodied, very sessionable; good smoothness with nothing distracting; nice carb level
Overall: nicely done Kolsch I could return to.

Tulip at the roost. Clear gold, fizzy white head. Nose is honey and dough, some flowers and some buttered bread. Flavors basically follow. Malt and grain and bread and honey. Finishes a bit sweet but smooth.

Brewery draught, 5/17/23. Clear coppery-brass. Big, snowy, rocky, white head. Herbs, crackery grains, hint of appley yeast and mineral. Soft, well aged. Malty, crisp, spicy, quenching, really nice body with good attenuation. Hoppier and more texture than usual but still attenuated enough and flavorful. Love the hoppiness and deep maltiness.

Pours clear gold into a stange. Soapy white head with little retention recedes to bubble the rim - looks like high life. Hay, meadow and cracker aromas. Crisp with toasted multigrain sourdough, hay and cracker upfront turning to earthy lemon zest in the medium length finish.

16 oz. can that was pushed to the back of my fridge. Been there for awhile. Aroma is cereal, light hop in the background. Mouthfeel is medium to thin with soft prickly carbonation Flavor of sweet malts, corn, and a trance of floral Nice Kolsch, held up just fine after sitting for a long while.

Very pale golden orange, sticky 1 finger head. Light nose, grass and a light floral essence. Good body, crisp finish with bits of cedar and oak. Up front, the yeast shines with a fleeting dry candy corn, butterscotch with orange peel.
