32oz crowler from Bear Naked, pours a ruby red with some cloudy, white head. Nose has malt, fall fruits, yeast, blood orange. Flavor has malt, orange, cracker, some berry. Finishes dry.

Ninth tasting at the brewery. Very slight hazed light golden-amber colour with a white small cap and some decent creamy-wavy lace around the base. The taste is nutty, yeasty with some apples and mild bitterness in the finish. The smell has the nuttiness with a farm-like note. A nutty, kind of yeasty red ale with more hops than usual.

On tap at The Reservoir, Waterbury. Deep red brown color with a tan head that slowly dissipates. Rich caramel toffee and a hint of chocolate with a touch of earthy hops to counter. Pretty good for a red ale.

Draft at the Reservoir - Waterbury, VT. Pours clear copper with a white cream crown. Bready malt nose with accents of caramel. Medium sweet flavor, bready, with slight candi sugar and low bitterness. Light bodied with average carbonation. OK balance on the finish, with more bread and toasted sugars. Fine, just a bit simple.

This was poured into a mason jar...hmm...I dig the creativity of the establishment, yeah well, here’s the rest.
The appearance was a moderately dark red color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute leaving some light lacing sliding into the beer.
The smell had some roasted nuts along with some caramel malts and then a light piney hoppiness running into some light toast.
The taste was a nice combination of bitter pine hops sliding into the toast and caramel malts. There’s a nice semi-sweet to bitter piney to caramel aftertaste leading on into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation runs fairly smooth allowing the bitterness to make it nice.
Overall, this was a really nice Amber ale that I would have again.

Light orange to dark. Nose is weak. Taste is a red ale but it’s pretty good. Oyster taste some oak and orange juice.

Tasting at the brewery. Light amber in the glass. Tastes hoppy, slightly bitter, just pleasant, hints of citrus all on a malty body. I enjoyed it.
