Draught. Clear dark brown colour. Small tan head. The flavour is slightly smoky with a good malt base. Tastes a lot like Schlenkerla, but is less in-your-face. Nicely malty, good mild smoke.

Bottle at Setka Pub, Poznań. Pours clear very dark brown with shades of ruby with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of malt, with roasty and malty notes. Sweetish and roasty flavour, with notes of malt and touches of hops. Bittersweet aftertaste. Not bad.

Bottled 500ml. -Dark amber (almost brown) coloured, small to medium sized off-white head, caramel nose with a whiff of smoke. Light roasted malt, smoke and caramel with some sweetness in rather short finish. Not bad at all.

Bottle shared by Peter Bognar. Aroma smoke, smoked ham, medium intensity. Clear dark brown colour. Taste is light to medium smoky. Evident hops bitterness. Good. Finish is hoppy bitter with light smokiness. The hoppiness surprised me, I can not believe nobody here picked it up. Very unprobable, that I would be so off so early into the tasting, with only 1 rauch and 2 darks beforehand. Good beer nevertheless.

50 cl bottle @ Gastropub Tuulensuu, BBE 21.03.2013
Aroma is smoky with some grain and tar. Exactly like schlenkerla Märzen! Flavour is somewhat sweet and feels a bit artifical. It has smoke, metal, some tar and licorice. This has a element I find hard to describe. But at least I can say the element is polish/czech and at least some polish porters have this feeling.

Aromat wędzonki dość wyraźny, choć nie aż tak jak to ma miejsce w przypadku Schlenkerli marcowej. Ale i tak jest bardzo dobrze, spory plus za jedyne tego rodzaju piwo w Polsce.

Bottle, Ma?e Piwo. Medium brown. Rich, woody smoke aroma. Soft smoke, about Spezial Mrzen level, and some lightly caramelly, toasty malts. There us a strong woody note to the smoke, relative to either Schlenkerla or Weyermann, and I appreciate that distinctiveness.
