Sampled @ Tour de Geuze 2017. From a jug / old school. Quite thick relative to other unblended lambieken with very clear wooden notes, big tastes, clear, lingering lemon finish. Wood is prominently present. Dry, very neat.

Aroma: 7/10, Appearance: 3/5, Taste: 7/10, Palate: 3/5, Overall: 15/20, MyTotalScore: 3.5/5
7/V/17 - from a jug @ the brewery (Toer de Geuze) - BB: n/a (2017-1033)
Clear pale orange beer, practically no head, just some big bubbles on top. Aroma: woody, tannins, orange peel, funky, bit lemony. MF: no carbon, medium to light body, bit of an oily texture. Taste: surprisingly bitter notes, fruity notes, bit lemony. Aftertaste: slight acidity, fruity, funky, little bitter still, wood notes are present, dry finish.
