Three Penny Taproom was our first draft account in 2010. On the occasion of their anniversary in 2013, we brewed a single batch of this hoppy spring ale. To mark what has been a monumental winter in the Northeast Kingdom and their auspicious tenth anniversary, we offer this Song of Spring in celebration.

On tap at Blackback Pub. Pours a cloudy orange copper with medium off white head leaving sticky lacing. Medium body, juicy, dank, grapefruit, light pine, enjoyed this.

Can at home in NH - sourced via trade. Pours lightly hazy holds with a creamy, white head. Nicely hopped and bitter, with some herbal and grassy noes, a bit of citrus peel, sun-kissed pale mats. Light in body with average carbonation. Clean and bitter on the finish. Very drinkable.

Tap. Pours cloudy amber with a small off-white head and nice lacing. Aroma is very light, with notes of citrus and floral scents. Lightly sweet, light bitter, not overpowering but very well balanced. A touch of caramel peeking through. Smooth dry finish. Light body, creamy soft mouthfeel. A really nice refreshing beer.

(12 mai 2013)

Burnt orange, intense lacing, 3 finger head that sticks around. Nose is citrus, a hint of earthiness with some biscuit as well. Nice hop presence on the taste, ultra drinkable and amazingly nice blend of the ABV and the bitterness. Hint of pine cone at the finish.
