330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Tromsø Sentrum. A creamy, bubbly, fawn-coloured head resting on top of a coal black body. Crocheted lacing down the glass. Appealing aroma of black chocolate and liquorice, nicely roasted. Nutty chocolate flavours supported by liquorice and molasses. Hints of dark fruits towards a roasted ending. Good drinking, not too sweet. (Tromsø 12.01.2020)

Bottle from Gedeelde Vreugde, Sint-Niklaas - many thanks, Anke. Pours cloudy black with a long-lasting, small, foamy, dark beige head; some lacing. Aroma of prune, candied fig, mocha, biscuit, green apple, dried banana, cream, coffee liqueur, milk chocolate. Taste is medium malty sweet, quite fruity (prune, fig, faint dried banana) paired with chocolate & cream, subtly nutty, a bit sourish with a soft bitter toasty edge. Dryish, herbal hoppy finish, toasty, lingering coffee (creamed) & chocolate powder, dark fruits & warming coffee liqueur alcohol. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Very nice, solid combination of flavours.
