Bottle from the To Øl Christmas Calendar. Black with creamy beige head. Aroma has licorice, coffee, caramel. Bittersweet flavour, roasted malt, licorice, smooth and creamy chocolate. Soft, velvety mouthfeel. Nice.

Tap@BRUS, Copenhagen (22/08/2018) - black pour with a beige head. Dark roasted and sweet malty with some notes of chocolate, coffee roast, medium body, some ashy charred burnt malty notes into the dark bitter malty finish.

Bottle @ home. Opaque black color, medium to full sized beige to light brown colored, dense and quite long lasting head. Aroma is malts, quite roasty. Taste malts, roasted malts, malt bitter, roasted malt bitter and maybe a distant hint of licquorice. I like it, no weird additives that make it weird. Solid beer imo.

Bottle from Boxbeers. Black with a light brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, caramel, tobacco and licorice. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish. Oily and soft. 060618

Bottle, 8%. Weak vanilla (?) aroma. Black colour. Big stable creamy light brown head. The flavour starts off roasted. Then comes vanilla, more roasted notes, bitterness, hint of smoke. Very bitter finish.

Bottle. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy but stable tan head. Clear aroma of malt and chocolate, with notes of yeast and touches of vanilla. Bitter, roasty onset, with sweetish notes of smoke and barrel, and estery and malty touches. Hints of dried fruit. Bitter, lingering, roasty aaftertaste with hints of smoke. Mild touches of alcohol. A nice one.

Közepes, örökké tartó bézs hab, fekete szín. Csokis, kakaós, aszalt gyümölcsös illat. Csokis, kakaós, aszalt gyümölcsös ízek. Közepesen testes, enyhén szénsavas, erősen keserű. Mintaszerű, egy porternek ilyennek kell lennie.
