Butelka.

Tasting glass draft @ Drugie Dno. Black, nicely lacing. Nose is thick herbal licorice, cough syrup, herbs, bitter coffee. Taste is black licorice, cough syrup, chicory coffee, herbal, bitter roast. Body is thick cough sryup, licorice; More like a herbal bitter, strongly roasted porter than a BIPA aka how BIPA’s used to be quite a few years ago. Not bad.

500ml bottle. Jet black colour with late awakening, average to huge, thick, creamy, fairly lasting and lacing, beige head. Grassy, herbal hoppy and roasty dark malty aroma, notes of dark chocolate and green onion, underlying fruitiness with hints of blueberry and blackberry. Taste is minimally sweet, chocolately, roasty dark malty, fruity hoppy overtones, notes of orange and mandarine, hints of blueberry, dark chocolate and milk chocolate; soft palate, rather light and easy drinkable for its 7.4% abv.

Bottleshare at Lancaster Gate. Almost clear amber beer, thin tan head. Palate is light, semi dry and has good fine carbonation. Fairly mellow dark malts, a little chocolate. Good fruits and red berries. Spicy pine hops. More red berries. Light semi dry finish. Tasty.

Bottle shared at Leighton’s place 09/05/2016. Many thanks to Kenny for this one. Reddy mahogany brown coloured pour with a small light tan head. Aroma is earthy citrus, pine, jammy fruits. Flavour is composed of toasted brown malts, pine and citrus, jammy fruits. Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation, dry and pithy. Lingering toasted grains. Decent black IPA
