Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a really clear golden yellow colored body leaving a one finger white foamy and fizzy head that quickly dies. The body is too hazy for any carbonation to be seen rising. Lacing is ringy and slightly spotty underneath the rings that form.
The smell had wheat with some lemon juice and ginger more so in the background.
The taste had a powerful ginger with the lemon juice and wheat more subdued.
The palate had a light to medium body with some harsh prickly bitterness hitting the tongue hard, very powerful, probably the ginger. It leaves a very dry afteraste and a bitter finish. It is moderately drinkable.
Overall, not bad, different. I’m not sure if I would come back to this, perhaps to try it fresh.

Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy apricot color with a medium sized soapy white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was wheat, ginger and dryish clove. The flavor was wheat, clove, nutmeg, ginger powder and pepper. Medium length dry ginger powder and nutmeg finish. Medium body. Ok.

650 ml bottle. Pours golden with a slim head. The nose has ginger powder or preserved ginger, almost ginger ale if that doesn’t sound too obvious. The taste has more tangy ginger, this time more of the fresh stuff. The palate is medium bodied with a long tight texture and a long tangyu finish. Overall, great balance though slightly missing the wheat aspect.

650 ml bottle, session #42. Bright honey gold color topped by a large bubbly white head. Fragrant ginger, lemon aroma. Dryish ginger and honey flavor. Reminds me of a cough drop. Light body and flavor. Tasty and refreshing. Brief dry finish.

On tap at Flying Saucer. Pours a clear orange gold with a small creamy white head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is floral hops and ginger. Thin mouthfeel with a sweet ginger and light spicy finish. A decent spice from Harpoon.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Ido’s place. Thanks Dagan. Clear golden. Aroma of ginger and sweet spices. Sweet flavor with some fruitiness, honey notes and some ginger. Finishes dry and spicy. Medium-bodied. So-so.

Super hazy golden coloured body with a very thin, one centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of ginger (of course), malt, wheat, coriander seed and a bit of lemons - but the ginger is potent and strong. Medium-bodied; Super strong ginger flavour with a good wheat and yeast flavour soon afterwards with a deep, pungent spice note at the end. Aftertaste is strong and bitter with the ginger and a bit of sweetness coming through. Overall, a strong and potent wheat with a ton of ginger flavours - nice, but perhaps a bit too potent. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from New Beer Distributors in New York, New York on 09-June-2012 for US$6.50 sampled at home in Washington on 30-July-2012.

Picked this up at Harpoon Brewery in Windsor. Enjoyed at fridge temp in a wine goblet.
A - Slightly darker than straw color. Small head that fades fast.
S - Big ginger scent on the nose and lemon citrus. Barely any discernable wheat scent. Smells like flat ginger-ale. Sort of nice.
T - Spicy and intense ginger at the start. This is followed by a spruce tip or maple syrup sweetness. Followed by a very floral / wheaty citrus taste. Pretty pleasant.
M - 50% carbonation on the mouth swish. Light body. Slight piney finish but mostly ginger.
O - Delicious but the ginger wears on you with this bomber format.
