Draft @ IAD. Murky, dirty blonde colour. Footy yeast note. Firm alcohol and pale malt. Somewhat simple, maybe a wheaty note. Nothing doing.

Bottle from Wine Warehouse on 04/26/2009. Slightly hazy orange amber body with a medium foamy off-white head. Spicy and citrus aroma with some fruitiness. Very fruity flavor, some pear and strawberry, with a bit of citrus and spice. Medium light body with moderate carbonation.

12 ounce bottle from Wine Warehouse in Charlottesville, VA. Bottle says 7.8% abv. Pours a hazy golden color with a thin head. Fair head retention and lacing. Aroma is a bit weak with notes of yeast and citrus. Taste is extremely fruity with big notes of pinapple, citrus, coconut and banana. Damn. Also some light spice and caramel notes. Medium bodied.

Location: Picked up a 12 oz. bottle at Gilly's, drank it 3/17/09
Aroma: Mix of fruits, sweet scent, honey, orange
Appearance: Kind of a cloudy, golden color, white head
Flavor: Pretty sweet, a tiny bit of spice, citrus/orange tang that lasts through the longish finish
Palate: Slightly watery, light body, some chalkiness
Overall Impression: Overall, not incredible, but compared to other blondes this wasn't too bad. There's a lot of sweetness here, but it isn't overpowering like many fruit beers. I'd say there was just enough mix to make it re-drinkable. Nice beer to start off the Spring.

Heavy DMS smell of peas and urine. Golden color, with floaties and a thin head. Sweet carrot flavor. DMS unavoidable throughout. Uniquely disgusting.

Crystal clear coloured body with some orange tints and a light amber appearance. Almost no head at all doesn’t settle well with me. First, the full-coloured label doesn’t look good - perhaps a bit of the macro is kicking in Ashburn. Decent aroma of fresh yeast, malt, coriander seed and plenty of apricots and sugar. Full-bodied; Very chewy yeastie flavour with some curacao and a lot of coriander seed flavour. Aftertaste shows alcohol, yeast, wheat and a bit of sugars - still with some more alcohol. Overall, a super strong (very unexpected) beer with plenty of good complex flavours, but not much like their other spring beers of years past. Still, a good beer in a decent bottle with the future hopefully in good hands. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Total Wine in McLean, Virginia on 16 March 2008 with a Bottle on Date: 28.Jan.2008.

12oz bottle. Golden tan color with just a hint of murkiness. Sweet malt taste pretty much dominates the beer. Tastes somewhat like a Belgian Blonde, but also has some bocky characteristics. The delicate spicing and honey help to round out the beer.

Bottle. Pours an amber/gold color. Aroma is a honey, and slight spice flavor to it. The flavor is clean, citrus and honey flavor. An extremely refreshing beverage.
