100ml taster, draught as Lab 3A, 11.5 % abv at Mikkeller Bar in Berlin. Next to clear amber body. Shiny naked surface. Poor lacing. Marmalade nose. Dried fruity flavours with malty sweetness. Sweet jam-like impression. Dried fruity ending with warmth from the alcohol. In danger of getting too sweet. (Berlin 15.01.2018).

Pale amber color. Aroma: sweet, rolls, pastries, raisins, wine, dried fruits, biscuits. Taste: raisins, dried apricots, white port wine, very good.

Draft glass at Warszawski Festiwal Piwa’17 - day 2, split with 77ships. Ambrée, col fin beige retombant rapidement. Arôme apportant de belles effluves de vin, le tout semble être un assemblage des Lab 4 et 6. Vin blanc, pour la peine, ressort nettement plus avec un rétro encore, du au niveau d’alcool, offrant des effluves sirupeuse de sucre résiduel. Palais est assez conséquent au niveau des 11% qui se font de suite ressentir. Le tout est accentué par des notes de malts pâle et caramel avec un fini de vin rouge et blanc offrant de fines notes de boisé. Le tout reste encore sur un sucre résiduel marqué, collant aux lèvres sur la fin. Au final, le caractère belge de saison est un peu noyé dans le sirupeux et ce caractère imparial. Pas mauvaise, mais trop haut pour une saison.

Thank you for sharing Sebletitje! Sampled draft @ Warsaw Beer Festival Spring 2017. Usurprisingly very similar to the two base beers who in turn surprisingly didn’t differ that much either. Near clear dark amber cough syrup with no head. Nose is thick very herbal vinous cough syrup. Taste is pleasantly boozy, thick hugely herbal cough syrup, herbs, potent, vinous,... More like herbal sipping barley wine than anything that I associate with the term barley wine. Oh well, its very tasty. Very thick cough syrup malt syrup body. Near flat.
