An unclear orange-brown beer with a beutiful orange head. The aroma is lovley wheaty, and fruity with notes of oranges and pink-grape, as well as candy suger. The flavor is not as good as the aroma promises, it is wheaty combined with notes of oranges, the wheat gives it a dry end. The body is thin.

On draught at Réservoir, 3/6/05 with Muzzlehatch and tiggmtl. Light orange, weak amberish body, is barely transluscent with a moderate amount of light beige head, fairly well retained. Aroma is dry, lightly nutty/wheaty, with some light citrus, bland yeast and cardboard. I like wheat beers, I like amber ales but this one didnt seem to have great components of either. Medium body does not contain much flavor. Astringent wheat notes, practically no malt sweetness. I’m left sucking on nutty wheat and light hops bitterness. Toasted grains further dry things out. Lots of mineral water flavor. Either they didnt get good extraction, they didnt want much extraction or they were afraid to get too much extraction from the malt, because there’s just no reason this should be so dry and attenuated.

Tap. May 2004 with Tiggmtl. Hazy amber ale with a nose of apricots and maple. Sweet malt and slight maple notes with some coriader. On the watery side, would gain having more malts.

Sampled draught at the brewpub.
Muddy reddish amber. Bubbelgum aroma. Sweet and full of flavours: red berries, citrus, wheat, toffee and jam. Medium bodied, low bitterness.
