(Cask at Edgar Wallace, Strand, London, 18 July 2011) Golden amber colour with brief, beige head. Fruity nose with orange peel, biscuits and earthy hops. Fruity, slightly malty taste with notes of apricots, orange marmalade and slightly earthy hops in the finish. Medium body, with balanced sweetness. Quite nice.

Cask handpull at King’s Head, Norwich. Copper, lasting beige head. Bit of toast. Like a toasty best bitter. Pretty decent best bitter, nothing spectacular, but cold drink a lot of it.

Sampled cask conditioned at Akkurat, Stockholm.
Dark amber. Hay aroma. Gently maltiness and light mouthfeel. A dry and well balanced session ale with some grassy hoppiness.
