Draft at the Bistro DIPA Fest; nose of flowery and citrusy hops; hazy amber with a small offwhite head; flavor of citrus hops with a little caramel.

Hazy amber colour. Light fruity hop aroma. Massive bitterness. Vague woody hop flavours, some caramel sweetness and alcoholic dryness. Overall, though, I’d be looking for a brighter, more distinctive hop character in such a hop-forward beer. As it stands, it’s not really going anywhere special for me.

Bottled. Hazy amber. Strong grapefruity hop aroma. Surprisingly dry and light, making it dangerously drinkable. Heavily hoppy with clean mouthfeel and strikingly bitter finish. More easy going than interesting, but certainly a worthwile effort.
