Thank you for sharing Antwerp Untappd Crew! Sampled draft @ Swafff 2017! Black, little head. Weird herbal cacao, old leaves, powdery, cloves, grainy, bitter, leaves old coffee. Not really my thing.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours pitch black, topped with medium beige head, creamy. Slightly roasty aroma with some vanillanotes. Later on some chocolate, rum sponge cake. Creamy body. Sweet chocolate start with slight roastiness. Dry(ish) finish, sticky with medium nad lasting aftertaste. Slight warmth.

Draught at CBF Wien 2017.
Almost black body, with a quite small, frothy, lacing, beige head.
Aroma of cocoa, coconut, nuts, rum, wood, some coffee, some dark fruits.
Tastes pretty similar.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes medium sweet, a bit roasty, a bit dry, a bit wooden, with cocoa, toast, liquorice, some coffee.
Very nice. The rum is well integrated, only provides some oily sweetness. Drinks pretty smooth, with diverse dark malts. Very good, quaffable style example.

Black with lasting head. Aroma has a touch of lactosey, burnt bittersweetness. There’s also a little bit of brown sugar too.

Draft - Chocolaty and some roast. Jet black with a small white head. Dark roasty notes, bitter and a light barrel sweetness with a bone dry finish. Not bad, but surprisingly I am looking for a bit of that rum harshness just to know it is there neither the lacto.
