The Hopsbant is on! Our aroma-enhancing device worked at full capacity to dry-hop this beer three times as it passed through its metallic shell, and it did a hell of a job.
Why did we call it a Fresh IPA? Because we brewed it with long-awaited fresh American hops that arrived in the nick of time, just as we were running out of last year’s supply.
Ingredients: water; Barley malts: Pale Ale, Caramel Light; Wheat malt; Oats; Hops: Simcoe, Amarillo, Centennial, Zeus; Yeast: US-05
Unfiltered, pasteurized.
Serving temperature: 10-12˚C; Suggested glass: IPA Glass/Nonic

Hazy pale golden with medium white head. Aroma: pine, mango, grapefruit, tangerine, bit of a hard candy. Taste: packed with resin and grapefruit, ending with honest bitterness and hard candy feeling. Medium body, moderate carbonation, moderate to high bitterness. In the world of fancy NEIPAs this is one oldschool IPA with its bitterness and bit rough on the edges, I honestly wish for more of this kind of beer currently.

Light gold color, medium head. Slightly foggy. Juicy tropical aroma with hints of bubblegum and grapefruit (this really stands out) and a little bit of lemon grass. Rather high bitterness with sweetness just above medium level. Warm on the throat. Medium body.

Barwa bursztynowa, mętne. Piana znikoma, szybko znika. Przyjemny świeży czerwony pomarańcz w aromacie, lekka żywica. W smaku pomarancz, grejpfrut. Bardzo pijalne ale trochę puste. Wyraźna, przyjemna goryczka.

(tap 0,3l @ JBM (Brno)) Overall: Nice citrusy-orange-juicy hoppy. More to NEIPA than classic IPA. Aroma: Orange, citrusy, tropical fruity. Appearance: Hazy golden. Long lasting white head. Taste: Medium sweet, hoppy, orange, citrusy, juicy, light bitter. Palate: Medium-full body. Creamy. Light bitter finish.

Shared bottle at RB/HD at Askje 13.10.18. Cloudy dark straw colour. Diminishing white head. Aroma and taste of medium roasted malt, ripe plums and bark. Good!

Shared 500 ml bottle. Golden colour, white head. Nice aroma of oranges and pine. Rich hoppy flavour on a decent malty base, reasonably bitter finish.
