500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear pale gold, massive bubbly white head. Aromas of lemon, sherbet. Taste is very dry, more citrus, light wheat. Bitter, dry finish.

Hazy blonde. Aroma is mainly earthy with a hint of lemon. Taste is earthy, maybe a little bit mushroomy. Dry and w lingering bitterness.

Cask at the Guide Dog - St Denys (So’ton) - 09/09/12. Pale golden yellow with a thinnish off-white head. Nose comprises apples, toffee, straw and hops. Tastes of sweet malts, hops, fruit, light caramel, slightly earthy and farmish. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation leading to a dry finish.

(Cask at Carpenter’s Arms, Marble Arch, London, 27 Nov 2011) Pale golden colour with creamy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of lemon, grapefruit and grassy hops. Fruity, hoppy taste with citrus, lemon peel, biscuity malt and a fairly dry finish with a generous grassy/citric bitterness. Medium body, quite dry and fairly bitter. Very nice and refreshing.

Drucken på Hawkley Inn. Lätt kropp, lätta flyktiga blommiga toner. Friskt lättdrucken men kanske lite väl tunn.

06/09/2011 Brasserie 4:20 (cask). Dorata, viva, abbastanza limpida, con bella schiuma morbida, pannosa, bianca, molto persistente. Al naso sentori di malto, caramello, pane, frutta, note floreali. In bocca è delicata, con una luppolatura morbida e mai aggressiva, corpo medio-basso, leggermente acquosa, ma gradevole. Carbonazione quasi assente. Una ottima session beer, rinfrescante e gradevolissima, al pari della Hole Hearted.

Cask @ Guide Dog Inn, Southampton. Pours a slightly hazy pale golden color with a small whitehead. Has a fruity malty hoppy aroma. Dry malty hoppy bitter flavor with some hints of citrus. Has a fruity malty hoppy bitter finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Hazy golden with a small, off-white head. Fresh citrusy nose. Light and a little watery body, fruity and citrusy with a fairly bitter finish. A classical British Golden Ale. 070209

50 cl bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Mild fruity hops and spiced aroma. Dry and bitter hops base flavour with a light ashtrayish note. Dry UK hops finish. Well brewed, but not my thing.

Cask (Guide Dog, Southampton) - Golden in colour. Hoppy aroma with grapefruit featuring prominently along with some floral notes. Hoppy taste with grapefruit, tea and a pleasant bitterness.
