Cask at the Pembury Tavern, Hackney, during the February Festival 2011. Pours clear, light yellow-gold with a foamy, white head. Has some tart citrus, light bready notes in the nose. Medium sweet flavour, lightly salty, faint straw. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Mild honey accents to finish, some dough, floral hops, mellow citrus bitterness, nips of alcohol. So so.

Cask handpull at Pembury Tavern. Pale gold lasting white head. Pretty decent golden ale with some good lemon flavour. Very decent indeed. Bit of yeast. Liked it

(Cask at Pembury Tavern, Hackney, London, 20 Nov 2008) Pale brown colour with brief, off-white head. Malty nose with dark fruit and brown sugar. Malty, nutty taste with notes of dried fruit, nuts and earthy hops in the finish. Fairly sweet with hints of brown sugar. Nice beer. In short: sweet nuts with earthy hops.
