Innovating the belgian abbey beers. But what happend with this idea? Make a deep brown abbey beer with banana and maté, a leaf from South-America. There's no way you can forget it with such a name! The slight taste of banana matches with the roasted flavours of the black malts. The slight smoky taste, nearly a taste of charcuterie, will surprise you for sure!

Bottle shared with Eugene. Thnx! As he mentionned before, huge layer of yeast ( 0.5-1 cm of yeast in a 50 cl bottle ) and a gusher that can only be compared with alvinne anno 2012. impressive ! this is actually the first beer that is simply not good quality of beerstorming ! Untill now, it was love/ hate / OK , but Always brewed well ( to me ) this one though... Whats left in the bottle ( ca 5 - 10 cl ) pours like the most awefull pool of mud. It really looks like very runny diarrhea. YUCK ! OK white foam. Smell is simply rotten. I’m sorry, but there’s simply nothing else than unfresh. When the bottle gushed, the uncomfortable scent filled the air. I’m getting into a new level of ticking for still trying to drink this after THIS scent - probalby one of the worst to date. Taste is - in comparancy - still OK . I mean, you only taste yeast. Yeasty to the extreme, with very unfresh, rotten notes. Its probably better than the beer than gushed out, i fear it would have tasted much worse than this. i like beerstorming, I still do, but this is a bottle they should be ashamed to have sold. Truly magnificent in being terrible as fuck. Re-rate at the Brewery. The Brewery was told about this issue ( by me ) and instantly admited there were 3 bad bottles sold before they found out about the problems. The beer was taken into the cellar to fully ferment. After that process, the beer is being sold again, with uncomparable quality. Hence why the Original score of 1 will not be taken in count for this rating. The Brewery sold the issue as an absolute dreamscenario. New glass ( free ) + new bottle for 77ships to re-try as well. No bullshit , just great honesty. I appreciarte that ! The new version pours brown, big white head. Smell is bit sweet. Taste is bit banana, some ’green ’ notes. Mild bitterness. Thick. Bit sweet. Way better than the Original one I tried, still a bit plastic, but not as off as the Original bottle I had.

Joint purchase. 500 ml. bottle split with Kraddel. Not even listed on their website, this one is truly atrocious. Extremely huge layer of yeast visible at the bottom of the bottle. HUGE GUSHER, first one for Beerstorming. Looks like ditch water, mud blended with yeast, beyond murky, horrendous looking with deep tanned head. It is one of the worst smelling things I have ever encountered, smells like spoiled food that has been rotting for a long time,... It is really awful, chemicals maybe & murky yeast as well,... Taste is awful, not quite as awful as the smell but it doesn’t mater by this point, its truly awful,... Tastes like mud with extremely thick rotting yeast, ditch watery, rotting weeds, spoiled food, maybe some sweet banana pure in the back but it is nearly all obscured,... Finish is awful chemical bitterness,... Leaves a horrible aftertaste of mud & rotting muddy yeast in your mouth,.... Body is all ditch water, mud blended with yeast,... Absolute rock bottom beer. Absolute garbage. This is everything that a beer should not be.
