2017 edition, almost six years old, in Kulminator, with my old man, celebrating his 75th birthday. An (almost ruby) amber pour, crystal-filtered, with a grayish foamy head that lasts but a second. Aroma is intense strawberry, redcurrant, honey, candied sugar. It still boasts a nice carbonation. Sweetish onset, crisp tongue, medium body. Medium-lasting finish with great bitterness. It has aged surprisingly well (then again, this is Leen and Dirk at Kulminator.)

Clear, deep golden to amber colored, medium- off white head, nice lacing. Aroma is of malt, spicy, Belgian yeast, some fruity and maybe very light tropical notes, brewing sugar. Taste is medium+ sweet malt and brewing sugar, bit caramel, spicy Belgian yeasty, some fruity hoppy notes but quite light, medium- bitterness. Medium bodied, average carbonation. Maybe there's no Ella at all... maybe you just find something small underneath because you search for it. Anyway... eh. (bottle)

Bottled. An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of caramel, malt, alcohol, and fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and fruit, leading to a bitter finish.

Sample from 33 cl bottle. Clear golden colour with a thin white head. Sweet aroma with pale malts, yeasts, fruits and a spicy note. Taste is sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and an average carbonation. Finishes dry and fruity bitter with citrus and a spicy note. Nice.
