Hazy reddish brown colour, beige foam. Nose of metal, 'roest', caramel, some red fruit. Unbalanced, not good.

Bottle, bb 4/21. Murky amber with a large white head. Aroma of toast and brown sugar, some plums. Medium bodied. The plums have a slight sourness about them and there's a bitter finish as well as considerable fairly plain sweetness. Alcohol is hidden. Nice enough.

Bottle from Carrefour. Pours clear amber with a lasting, small, foamy, off-white head. Aroma of candied apricot, plum, dried orange peel, honey, biscuit, cake, green tea with sugar. Taste is medium malty sweet, cake & biscuit profile filled with candied fruit, apricot & banana, touch of honey, spices & sugared green tea hint rendering it only a tad bitter. Dryish, herbal hoppy finish, more honey & apricot, some warming fruity jenever-like alcohol. Medium body, oily-syrupy texture, lively carbonation. No masterpiece but could be something of a guilty pleasure.

Solid belgian pale with a clean lean towards malty caramel forward, like a good biere de garde. Clean and a good full body. Online belgian beer factory

Very huge & dense yellowish head, fed by fine carbonation in a verdigris-tinted copper beer, veiled. Roasted/toasted, 'hot' nose, garden weeds, bit of fatty acids and other yeast offshoots, soupy. Even faraway coriander. Even more soupy in taste, again coriander impression; unripe vegetables, soured pumpkin. Faint backthroat acidity, probably linked to the fatty acids. Sweetness as from grains, seeds, kept too long in the mouth. Slick, bit oily feel, enlightened by the CO²/acidity. Very good carbonation. Something is not right here.

8/X/17 - 33cl bottle from Willems (Grobbendonk) @ home - BB: 3/III/19 (2017-1768)

Little hazy orange beer, big fluffy creamy off-white head, very stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very metallic, spicy, sweet malts, some cow fodder, banana and banana peel. MF: very lively carbon, medium to full body. Taste: spicy start, malty, banana, little sourish, pretty fruity. Aftertaste: soft bitterness, malty, grains, pretty boring.
