Although this pale ale is mild in color, lookout! It has six hop additions to tantalize the senses. But beware, it is known as "The Ale That Stings".

Bottle thanks to Douglas. Poured a clear amber with a gold hue and a near white head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of bread and biscuit with a backing pine note that has a hint of resin. Flavor starts with bread and grain with a bit of growing sweetness and hint of resin bitterness in the finish.

Draught at The Beerhive, Salt Lake City, UT. Pale nut brown, small head. Mildly roastywith some peachy hops. Light-medium bodied with clean but firm mouthfeel. Salty bitterish finish. A clean, fairly hoppy well drinkable ale.

Rerate:
12oz bottle from Albertsons in St. George
This is the way I remembered it. A nice clean and crisp beer. It has a nice pale malt biscuity flavor with a slightly bitter pine finish. Very nice. I updated the score to reflect this rating.
1/26/10: 5,3,5,3,14 (3) On tap at The Bayou
Appearance: Copper with a small white head and some lacing
Aroma: Toasted malts, pine
Taste: Malty, pine yeast
I really like this beer in bottles and at the Moab Brewery, but this beer just didn’t taste right today. I don’t know why, maybe it’s been here to long. I’ll buy a bottle and rate it again in the future.

Courtesy of THE douglas88, thanks again. Pours brownish copper with gold hues and thin white head. The aroma has notes of malts, crystal malts, hints of pine hops and grapefruit hops. The taste is full of malts to go along with a mild amount of roast then moving toward a modest level of pine hoppiness. Toward the finish a bit of hops return with a bit more hop bitterness than before and lingering into the after taste.

12 oz bottle from Douglas88; Nose of floral and [iney hops with some light caramel and vanilla notes tossed in; clear copper with a medium beige head that laced lightly; flavor was light bitterness, pine, and some caramel; nice light IPA!

Bright reddish-bronze colour. Aroma is of woody, grapefruity, blood orangey hops. Flavour is sweet, with some light crystal or vienna malts and a hint of citrusy hops. Finishes fairly quickly.

Botle Pours a deep mahogany with a decent off wite head. A constant thin layer is maintained as well as very nice lacing. Aroma is a full combination of hops and sweet dark malt. Some citrus rind notes as well. Flavor is a bitter sharp grassy flavor that is sour as well. Feel is good but aftertaste is a grassy bitter flavor that puts me off.
