A crisp, dry, blonde beer brewed with pale ale and pale crystal malted barley and hopped with Nelson Sauvin. This hop variety is grown on New Zealand’s South Island and it adds fantastic gooseberry flavours to the beer similar to a Sauvignon Blanc. New Zealand has been producing some fantastic hop varieties for many years but the aroma of Nelson Sauvin is truly unique in the hop world.

Crosse Keys Spoons. Clear amber beer, little white head. Light palate, crisp and semi dry. Good hops for a beer of this style. Floral notes dominate with some orange and tangerine marmalade. The tangerine briefly turns sherbet like. Very dry finish. Alright.

Cask at The Hamilton Hall, JDW, London. Pours clear, rich gold with a sturdy, white cream head. Bit of grass, zesty citrus and pine in the nose. Medium sweet flavor, balanced nicely by mild citrus hops. Light to medium in body with fine carbonation. Alright finish, some lingering earthy bitterness, citrus rind, mild sweet malts. Very decent.
