A Blond Ale created for the hot desert and intense baja sun. This beer is light and refreshing and should be enjoyed cold on the beach or in a hammock

16 oz draft at Flora Farms in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico. The pour is a slightly hazed golden copper with a foamy 1/2 inch egg white head. The aroma is pretty faint, just some cereal grain malt. The taste is clean grain, cereal malt and a soft hint of floral. The palate is light to medium bodied with soft carbonation and a clean finish.

Keg at the brewpub - Cabo. Pours mostly clear yellow with a fine, creamy white head. Simple pale malt base here, lightly tangy lemon, dough, slight cereals. Light bodied with average spritzy carbonation. Clean finish, subtle straw bitterness, doughy pale malts. Tasty, refreshing.

Bottled at Elvira, Mexico City. Clear golden, minimal head. Fruity nose. Sweetish with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Hops are almost absent, instead there’s mostly a generic bland fruitiness. Low bitterness.

Bottle. Pours clear pale amber with almost no head and no lacing. Aroma of hard water, grain and butter. Taste is also buttery, but not unpleasantly so, with notes of grain, lightly sweet malt. A lightly bitter finish. Tap version has a small white head and good lacing.
