Very dark brown with a thin head. Aroma is soft chocolate - 70% and slightly fruity - and that’s about it. Not much nuance but I like it. Has a soft chocolatey taste with a gentle fruitiness and vaguely rum barrel sugars in the finish. I like it.

Bottle. Pours deep black with a red tint and a small fizzy brown head that dissipates quickly with no lacing. Aroma is faint, but notes of roasted malt and coffee. Taste is medium sweet roasted malt, caramel, molasses, with a dry, lightly bitter finish. Somewhat watery on the palate.
