330ml bottle from Beershop.com.ua. Vintage 2012. Pours a hazy copper with a tan head. Aroma is sweet, barrel notes, very fruity. Taste is similar, slightly hot. Good stuff.

330 ml. bottle @ Beerlovers Bar. Bottled 12.07.2016. Recent Rum + Bourbon version was amazing, first version was pretty amazing, wine profile here really bothers me, too much barrel fro me perhaps? I don’t seem to care too much about most current Struise releases. Rum + Bourbon version was a huge surprise, amazing beer. Near clear amber, small tanned head. Nose is too much rotting wine, massive red wine yoghurt profile, sugar, tannins, more yoghurt. Taste is all rotting yeast, spoiled yoghurt wine, huge rotting wine, old barrel, big sweetness in the back ,massive wine, caramel, lightly metallic & more rotting yoghurt wine barrel. Body is all sugar & sweet wine yoghurt profile. Wine profile is really not my thing.

bottle @ beerlovers bar, shared with Rutger. Pours unclear amber, OK white head. Smell is bit malty, mild sweetness. Some oak. Taste is full, red wine, grainy, very full, fruity. Bit sweet, mild oak. Great MF and carbo. Extremely nice. I seem to enjoy this loads more than the previous version, to be honest !
