Sampled at ACBF2017. thnx for sharing, everyone ! Pours unclear reddish amber. Small white head. SMell is sharp, grainy booze. Sweet Taste is full, sharp grains, booze, some sweetness. OK, but i strongly prefer the red wine / bourbon edition over this - it seems like 77ships and I have very contradicting tastes in these 2 beers. Than again, it might have something to do with the fact that red wine is one of my favourite barrels, whilst rhum is my least favourite.

ACBF 2017. Thank you for sharing kraddel, tderoeck, Travlr & friends. Very deep amber, creamy off-white head. Nose is astonishing pure sweet sugary bourbon & rum thickness with huge malt. Taste is boozy sweet bourbon, rum, maple, alcoholic, malt, exotic sugar,... Basically rum, bourbon malt coctail,... Huge caramel, exotic sugar & barrel with some spirit body. I adore it, very pleasantly surprised to try a beer this awesome from modern day Struise, this is right up my alley.

Clear amber brown beer, creamy beige head, adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: sweet, banana, sugary, malty, dried fruits, bit vegetal, some rum. MF: soft to no carbon, medium body. Taste: banana, alcohol, rum, more alcohol, banana peel, pretty ok. Aftertaste: bourbon, vanilla, alcohol, banana, some marzipan, pretty bitter.
