Moinette Ambrée is a top-fermented amber beer, refermented in the bottle.
First crafted in 2016, Moinette Ambrée enables us to present a trilogy centred on one of our star products, La Moinette.
Its colour, flavour and aromas result from brewing a blend of five different malts.
When tasting this beer, the aromas of special malts and fine hops dominate: the combination of fruit and bitterness give Moinette Ambrée its beautiful balance.
Genuine refermentation in the bottle, which may be extended by several months in your cellar, creates this harmonious and refreshing beer.

330ml bottle form Vanuxeem. Pours a clear amber, good off-white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, caramel, sweet malt. Taste presents Smoot, rounded caramel, light spice tang, some faint metallic / chemical notes from the sugar, but generally quite a nice, sweet ambree.

Keg, at Akkurat, Stockholm. Hazy amber, rich creamy head. Floral nose with evident grassy hops. Mid sweet with medium body and soft, gentle mouthfeel. Marzipan, grain and elderflowers dominate. Mid bitter finish. Very harmonious, yet full flavoured. Quality all the way - a rare feature in todays stupidified brewing culture.

Flaska från belgiuminabox. Bärnstensfärgad klar vätska med krämig skumpuck som i princip finns kvar så länge det finns öl kvar i glaset. Ambre är en ölstil som jag tycker är lite svårare att få till bra. Blir lätt väl sött eller alkoholstinn eller väl rå maltsmaker. Men här sitter balansen och smakerna perfekt. Estrigt med ett snygg register av fruktighet och alkoholburen sötma och gyllne maltsmaker möter jäst och kryddor med väl avvägd beska. Mjuk och fin i munnen. Klassisk och enkelt rustikt men å så bra.

0,33l bottle from Beergium. Amber copper beer with good and very long lasting thin head. Aroma has yeast, dark fruits, caramel and spices. Taste has same elements with some pepper and caramel dominating. Nice a bit dry finish. Medium body.

Bouteille 3cl, BB 05/2020 Ambrée, col épais blanc cassé. Arôme au nez malté, caramel, cara ambre, levure belge avec un léger effet de grains en rétro-nasal, le tout sur des pointes de houblons nobles. Palais garde un côté très belge marqué par la levure, malt cara pâle, ambre voire crystal, retrouve qcq éléments de sucre résiduel, amertume plaisante qui balance la base des malts. Touche épicée sur la fin avec un effet presque de cannelle. réchauffant en fin de bouche, classique.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, darkest amber colour with average, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Mellow malty and fruity hoppy aroma, notes of pear, hints of yellow stone fruit, red berries, sweet-ish biscuity undertones, a cinnamon touch. Taste is slightly sweet, caramel malty with a biscuity touch, yeasty fruity, slightly peppery yeasty spicy and minimally dusty, hints of pear, red berries, some yellow stone fruit, a touch of cinnamon and and nutmeg. Well hidden alcohol, very refreshing - good.

Draft @ Foeders. Hazy amber color. White-ish head. Aroma's: sweetish, caramel, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet, caramel, light bitter. Medium bodied. Finishes with caramel malts, light bitter. OK, but not Dupont's finest.

Clear dark orange to amber beer, big solid creamy yellowish head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: pretty sweet malts, caramel, some banana, dried fruits, bit hoppy. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty fruity, sweet malts, caramel, bitter hops, bit yeasty. Aftertaste: very bitter, malty, some citrus, bit of a chemical bitterness, quite some banana, caramel.
