an easy drinking ale with a foxy, citrus bitterness and a distinct earthy flavour from the addition of freshly juiced Ontario beets. the extraordinary red colour will captivate you even before tasting the mild grain sweetness.

Poured a lighter reddish colour with a creamy, whitish pink head. Minimal lacing. Scents include cooked veggies, a little ripe fruit, honey, malt, earth and cardboard. First swig was pretty good. Flavours of tea, grass and malt most prominent. Finish is more bitter than expected from a red, although apparently the red is from beets so maybe a wee bit sweeter because of? Hop bitterness lingering.

Ruby red pour, light pink head. Aroma is very earthy, and slightly sweet with some nice subtle citrus hop notes. Mouthfeel is good, carb is spot on. Finish as the beer warms becomes quite citrusy, and the earthy sweetness from the beets comes through and oddly compliments the beer with a medium bitterness.

Clean amber colour with golden highlights. The head is off-white, pinkish, bubbly with average stay and some light foamy lacing. Sweet malt nose with the fruitiness of red ales. The taste shows the same, but the hops do cut the sweetness in the end. This adds some bitterness, and fairly big dryness building. Goes down nicer than the aromas propose. A decent red ale.

A reddish copper ale with a thin white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with grassy floral hops, nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, light grapefruits, nice. On tap at brewery.
