Cranachan is a traditional Scottish dessert made from raspberries, honey, toasted oats and cream. We love it. So we made an oatmeal pale ale and smashed it with
enough local berries to feed a clan of hungry Highlanders.

Can shared in Hackney - cheers to Sccopey. Pours mostly clear orange with a small, creamy topping. Fresh raspberry in the aroma, pale bread. Light-medium sweet flavour with more juicy raspberry character, pale bread, minimal bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, minimal bitterness, more raspberry character, simple bready character. Fun stuff.

Tap, pint. Tasted on the 29/01/2018 at "BrewDog Camden". Hazy medium amber colour with a small fizzy head. Aroma is berries, syrup fruit and sugar. Taste is tart fruit and syrup, leading to a sugary finish. Medium carbonation. Next one please!

330ml bottle. Clear copper with a thin white head. Aroma and flavour are, obviously, dominated by raspberry. Take that away and what's underneath is a fairly bland, slightly watery pale ale. I like it though, and will actively seek it out in the summer

Bottle. Pours unclear amber. Aroma is raspberry syrup, artificial, fake, but really intense. Body is medium, still a raspberry syrup made with sparkling water, but apparently this is a beer. Works well, even if it feels a bit odd. Childhood memories, joined by alcohol.

Roodbruin bier zonder schuim. Smaak is licht friszuur en fruitig met sporen van framboos en bramen. Niet onaardig, maar iets meer honing zou ik wel kunnen waarderen vermoed ik.

What an odd soda. Fruity, not very beery.

Soft fruity pale which is easy-drinking and clean. Creamy; light and fluffy with a touch of lactose. A nice mix. Refreshing too.
