Cranachan is a traditional Scottish dessert made from raspberries, honey, toasted oats and cream. We love it. So we made an oatmeal pale ale and smashed it with
enough local berries to feed a clan of hungry Highlanders.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is sweet berries and raspberry syrup. Sweet honey flavour with a hint of tartness. Medium bodied. An okay raspberry beer, though it's a bit too sweet for my taste.

440ml can as part of a delivery from the brewery, shared at home. Purplish pink and clear with a pinkish white head. The aroma is delicious but it's hard to get anything past the raspberry.Taste isn't overly sweet, there's a nice tart edge to it with a hint of honey in the finish. Body is quite light, with medium to heavy carbonation. I've wanted to try this beer for a while, and I'm not disappointed.
