4 oz Aroma is raisin, toffee with ale yeast. Flavor is a great representation of the style. Really great for a young barley wine.

First visit at the brewery, April 2019. Amber colour with a beige head and spotting lacing. Rich dark fruit aromas of sweetness with dates, plums, hints of apples and caramel. Roasted malts taste, well-balanced with the dark fruits, but not as sweet as the hops closes the lingering richness, some coffee, nuts and with the grassiness. A very nice hoppier Barleywine.

Keg at Queen City, Burlington. Lightly hazy mahogany colour, mid sized head. Caramelly port aroma. Mid sweet with a cranberry tartness. Near full bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Red wine, caramel and cranberries. Mid bitter finish. Interesting beer, more old ale than barleywine
