Vår IPA låter de amerikanska humlesorterna Citra & Simcoe stå i centrum. En frisk IPA med citrustoner. Denna öl har varit väldigt uppskattad så nu har den fått namnet Ångkvarns IPA istället för Citra & Simcoe IPA och blir en återkommande IPA.

(Draught at Byggeriet Ångkvarn, Uppsala, 10 Aug 2024) Golden colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with citrus, grapefruit, resin and white bread. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, grapefruit, resin, grass, pineapple, biscuits and a balanced citric/resiny bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Fresh and hoppy WC-ish IPA. Nice one.

Tap at the brewpub. Ever so slightly hazy but functionally clear. Citric, marmalade, herbal, lightly dusty. Nice! Peachy smooth malty taste, ending as juicy as it's dryish, not much biyteri. Quite good!

Keg at Ångkvarn, Uppsala. Cloudy straw colour, small head. Rich aroma of papaya, apricots and guava. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Peppery white bread and guava. Mid bitter finish with slight saccharine burn.
