330ml can [courtesy of Claudius - thanks!]. Clear, darkest brwon colour with ruby shimmer and small to average, creamy, slowly diminishing, moderately lacing, off-white head. Sweet-ish, caramel malty and slightly roasty, minimally grainy-bready, dark malty aroma, notes of caramel and malt lozenge, a touch of pumpernickel. Taste is sweet-ish, caramel malty, slightly roasty, minimally ashy and minimally bready, dark malty as well as mildly bitter and minimally fruity hoppy, initial notes of malt lozenge and caramel, also a touch of pumpernickel; roasty, almost ashy middle part, return of caramel sweetness in the finish; mild hop bitterness throughout, sporadically a touch of blueberry, minimally metallic overtones with a touch of blood and iron.
Creamy-watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium to fine, soft, creamy carbonation.
Relatively complex, a tad heterogeneous, though - pretty decent.

Bottle contributed by and shared with OE at OSB 01.02.17. Muddy pale brown. Dark beige head. Moderate aroma, mainly of malt. Perhaps also a hint of wet grass and herbs. Similar taste, with moderate bitterness in aftertaste. Fizzy mouthfeel.

0,33 boks fra Gulating Stavanger, på Fridtjofens soldekk før vi går igang med grunning: fin kobbergylden farge og højt skum som varer hele veien ned. Brøddeig, milde urter og en halv fløtekaramell. Lav bitterhed i afslutningen. Kjedelig helhetsinntrykk.

I am still waiting for a really good beer from beautiful Røros. And I do not agree with the brewery that say that this one is “gørrgod”/very good. Quite dull ant thin actually Clear nutty pour with nice tan head. Ok it looks ok Decent ok aroma with a pleasant intensity A bit thin texture and a balanced sweetness. Moderate bitternes Toffee, herbal and a bit fruity flavor [Can from Varnaveien in Moss, Norway]
