Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is quite herbal and smoky with malt, heather, thyme, peated notes, bit fruity, and a hint of saison-ish yeast. Flavour is above moderate sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Interesting, nicely smoked, but a bit heavy on the herbs for my taste.

ABV: 6.0%. Clear medium amber orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, meat - sweet meat, smoke. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, wheat, smoked, meat, saison yeast, light heather, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20190730]

Nearly clear amber, offwhite froth. Smoky aroma, kind of woody, but I know it's probably. Malt and over ripe fruit too. Sweetish flavour, fruity, malty, caramely and smoky. has some sweet yeasty notes too. Finishes a little light. Not really a saison.

Very lively carbonated veiled orange-amber beer under a small to medium yellow head. Smoked, phenolic, woodsmoke, mineral, and fruity orange; burn salve. Again very smoked/phenolic and again orange & orangepeel. Quite sharp taste, burning. Cold Lapsan Souchong with orangepeel and roasted chili. bit soapy somewhere. Sharp, very well-carbonated, slick. I like the flavours - no discussion. But I keep hanging with an impression of "just a bit too..." 7/4/7/3/14

hazy golden, small white head. herbal aroma, fainter smoked malts, flavor is smoked malty, malty, balanced by subtle bitter hops. flavor is quite smoked, pretty nice smoked too, peat smoked, but the beer does not really ring the bell saison at all.
