Hazy, reddish body, foamy off-white head. Smell of citrus and berries, a touch of malt. Flavour is a nice mix of stuff. Dry and bitter with hop, grapefruit, some spice to it, There’s a tanginess to the afterness, a bit of tart fruit.

330 mml bottle as part of the European Local Swap 1/2017, many thanks to Gurthnar for this one. Tasted on the 04/04/2017. Unclear dark amber colour with a good lasting white head. Aroma of pine, citrus and hops. Taste is medium hoppy and grassy. Aftertaste is dry. Next one please!

21st March 2017
Murky amber beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth palate, fairly dry and with good carbonation. Malts are sweetish and have a little cream, a bitterish toffee streak in contrast. Ripe fruits blend well with the toffee. Light hop spice. Light dry finish leaves a bitter linger. Quite a malt forward DIPA but plenty of hops here to, if a bit boil hop like. Decent.

Backlog. Tap. Lots of bitterness and juicy citrusy fruity hops flavours. Alcohol is dangerously hidden, the overall body is medium, with pretty high attenuation and very clean fermentation character. Very little malt character, only providing somewhat of a backbone to the intense hoppiness. Surprisingly drinkable, a great beer.

Bottled 330ml. -Trade with Gurthnar. Unclear dark amber coloured, small to medium sized off-white head, hoppy nose. Sweet malty, caramel, bitter hops, and evident alcohol with light fruity notes in the finish. Too strong bitterness and rather noticable alcohol.
