Reviewed from notes.
Can to lager glass.
Appearance: glossy yellow to copper color with a slight transparency about it and a three finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: mixed citrusy hops, light lemon, subtle pine and some freshly cut grassy hops; light bready/biscuity malts
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to bittersweet hop to malty ratio; finishes crisp through semi-citrusy and piney hops with a nice blessing of malts
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; great smoothness as nothing seems to distract from allowing this beer to flow as well as it does down my throat
Overall: I say a nicely done "modernized" pilsener from The Veil and don't ask me if this a Czech or German one as I enjoyed this beer for what it is.

Panda thanks to Wingman. Near clear gold beer, small white head. Light and semi dry palate, good fine carbonation. Light malts, mildly sweet. Mild lager tang. Decent Citra, light pine and light but bright orange and tangerine, trace of peel. Finishes airy. Nice beer but once again I am led to the conclusion that a really good lager is going to need noble hops. This feels too close to a SIPA.

473ml can from Mikkeller Webshop. Citra. Canned 02/09/18. Pours clear golden with a thick white head. Aroma of grainy malts, earthiness, hints of hay and bready notes, hints of juicy citrusy fruitiness. Taste is smooth, slightly fruity and grassy with some crisp maltiness, hay, hints of citrus and pine. Finish is grainy, malty and full bodied with some hay, crisp hoppiness, bready notes and earthiness. Pretty balanced and tasty pils with hints of fruitiness. Not super fresh anymore, but still pretty good.
