Draft @ Borefts 2016. Shared with RB Belgian crew. Brune voire cuivrée trouble, col beige. Arôme au nez malté, caramel, sucre candy, pâle, touche d’amertume fine en rétro avec un renforcement de fruité noire typique du style oscillant vers les dates, pruneaux et figue. Palais est copieux au niveau des grains et du réchauffement des quasi 10%. Fruité noire; date et figue avec un léger sucre résiduel candy et impression d’épaisseur de butterscotch. Pas trouvé l’impact de brett dans cette bière.

Thank you for sharing BE RB Crew! Sampled 750 ml. bottle @ Borefts 2016. Day 1. I am absolutely in love with that label. Dark brown, little tanned head. Nose is strangely oxidized, metallic, dull iron, heaves with leaves & rain water. Taste is dull cough syrup, metallic, bland, oxidized, leaves. Body is dull oxidized, leaves, bark. Quite a weak stab at the style. Too bad.

Sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival 2016, Day 1. Hazy dark red to red-brown color, small to average sized off-white head. Aroma is a tad weird, plant-like. Flavor has it as well, besides malts and some caramel there’s a hint of tea and something else I can’t quite put my finger on. Gets better after a while though. Decent.

Tap. Hazy brown color with small tan head. Aroma is cherries, brown sugar, chocolate. Taste is cherries, chocolate, some coffee. Low carbonation. Nice, quite balanced.

At Bergen Ölfestival 2016. Almost black with a small head. Aroma of light roasted malt, yeast, caramel and some funk. Similar taste.The body was thick and the finish with some warming alcohol.
