0,5l can from Coop élelmiszer üzlet in Hévíz. Head is medium, white, average retention. Colour is gold, light hazy. Aroma is malty, citrus, grapefruit. Taste is medium malty base, vaguely grapefruit with citrus herbal touch, bit buttery, decent bitterness, medium carbonation, drinkable in way of euro commercial APA.

# 3504; 3/2023. Tropical fruits and juicy aroma. Hazy gold body; white head. Tropical fruits, malty, apricot, mint, juicy. Surprisingly quite good APA. 0,5 l, can, supermarket, Sopron (Hungary).

Can, 0.5l. Murky deep copper pour, one finger frothy white head, medium retention, broken lacing on the glass. Nose is malt, ripe tropical fruits with some herbal notes in the background. Light body, lively carbonation. Average mouthfeel and texture, fizzy, prickly, some chewiness to it. Balanced bittersweet taste. Aroma of malt, herbal candy, ripe tropical fruits. Grass, spice, light yeast. Medium lasting finish, mild lingering bitterness. Decent macro.

Wenn das IPA gut geht, probieren wir gleich mal ein APA danach!, dachten sich wohl die Brauer bzw. Marketingleute in Sporon (dt. Ödenburg). Das IPA war zwar nicht überragend, aber auch nicht übel. Während das IPA in einer weißen Dose kommt, bekommt dieses BIer die Dosenfarbe blau. Sortengemäß hat es malzig-süße Noten, die aber nicht übertreiben sondern ein in sich geschlossenes Bier erzeugen. Ein süffiges Bier, das einem verwöhnten Craftbier-Amerikaner vielleicht zu fade ist, aber den mitteleuropäischen Geschmack durchaus erfreut.
