Bottle shared at the Hackobock tasting at Craft Islington. Thanks to Matteo! It pours cloudy dirty blonde with a foamy white head. The aroma is quite fresh, soft, sweet, orange sherbet, wood, candied citrus, kumquat, spice and herbal accents. The taste is crisp, dry, sort of tart, wood, earth, herbal vibe, spice, bready malts, bit of alcohol and some citrus. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Pretty unusual, but maybe not so for Fantome. Fun to try, but I wouldn’t dome a bottle.

Bottle shared at the Craft beer Co tasting 24/11/2016. Many thanks to Matteo for this one . A translucent golden orange coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is Belgian yeast, celery. Salt. Pepper, pale grains. Pepper. Flavour is composed of pencil, woody, Belgian, . Palate is situated sweet. Moderate carbonation. Belgian.

Bottle shared in London - thanks to Matt. Pours unclear orange with a frothy, white head. The nose has some green pepper, some wheat bread. Medium sweet flavour with notes of wheat bread, more green pepper. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Sweet finish with more wheat bread, dough, more green pepper, some lemon meringue. Novel.
