Bottle at Craft CG thanks to Colin. It pours jet black with a small tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, whiskey, chocolate cake, toffee, honey, vanilla, nougat and rocky road. The taste is dry, bitter, charred wood, rich roasted malt, slick, rocky road, spice, dark fruits, vanilla, bounty bar and some warming alcohol with a slick finish. Full body and fine carbonation. Slick and flavoursome. A nice BA impy stout.

Craft Tot Ct Rd. Bottleshare. Thanks to Cloin for the can. Opaque dark brown beer, tidy tan head. Smooth soft palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Soft rich dark malts, smooth creamy sweetness. Soft creamy chocolate. Little sweet coffee underneath. Tangy fruity finish. Very nice. Rich and soft.

Can shared in London - cheers to Cloin. Pours deep down with a creamy, khaki head. Rich roasted malt aroma, some dark fruits. Medium sweet flavour with notes of creamy chocolate, burnt toffee, a little coffee, raisins, alcohol. Full bodied, oily and chewy, with fine carbonation. Hot finish, lots of bitter dark chocolate, dried dark fruits, toasted vanilla pods, a little earth. Quite good.

On Tap at the Boise brewery/taproom Black with a dense thing light tan head. Lots of soft roast and dark chocolate and a touch of coffee. Flavors are similar. Luxurious thick smooth feel and tons of chocolate and subtle boozy barrel notes. Quite sweet and heavy. At 14% the bossiness is there but blankets of malty roasted sweeteners covers all. Delicious.

Dark brown, flat. Seems pretty viscous. There’s a bit of alcohol sting, some sweet chocolate, figgy sort of notes. Soft body. Rich chocolate, figs and nuts, that sort of thing. Maybe a touch of coffee, and certainly some barrel notes. Bit of alcohol in the finish - pretty strong.

22 oz. bottle, pours a deep dark brown with no head. Aroma brings out loads of bourbon, some vanilla and cocoa. Flavour is a little oxidized, with notes of cocoa nibs, bourbon barrels, light vanilla and a touch of coffee. Smooth and complex. This is nice stuff.
