Thank you for sharing German speaking RB Crew! Sampled draft @ ZBF 2017. Hazy golden, lacing white head. Nose is interesting, bergamot, mandarin, citrus hop, low chemical hop,... Taste is grapefruit, bergamot, pomello, lime, big citrus fruit, low sour, juicy, tea, hop,... Lightly fizzy,... Quite a nice surprise,... I dug it.

Sampled at Zythos 2017. Thnx for sharing, Ruben and Tim ! I overheard the brewer explaining the beer is aged on barrels, which naturally automatically makes it sour... that’s new to me ! Anyway, lets say - for the sake of argument - this was an infected beer. He than added ( after the barrel ageing) dregs from an oude geuze. He doesn’t market it using this info, let alone the name of the specific geuze, but he’s honest enough to admid it was 3 fonteinen after you ask him. Pours dark, unclear blonde. Small white head. Smell is unfresh grainy, urine (!), funk. Bad, plain off sour notes. Taste is plain bad, dry plastic MF. this beer is just way off. the damage has been long done prior to adding the 3f yeast. Perhaps the brett will eat some of the flaws out of the beer in time, but at this point, its just so groce... I’m just happy they didn’t use the name of 3F or even lambic/geuze. I appreciate the honesty as well. But honestly, this one should have gone down the drain.

23/IV/17 - on tap @ Zythos Bier Festival 2017 (Leuven) - BB: n/a (2017-511) Thanks to kraddel for sharing today's beers!
Clear pale blond to reddish copper beer, creamy white head, pretty table, bit adhesive. Aroma: smoky, funky, barn yard, bit dirty and pretty infected. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: funky, dirty, barn yard, some brett, but also bad unpleasant flavours, cow dung. Aftertaste: some tannins, bit sour, smoky touch, malty, grains. Not so good.
