F: big, white, irregular diminishing. C: blonde to pale gold, hazy. A: malty, a lot of orange peels, BE yeast, grassy, fruity, bit dusty. T: malty, dry orange, bit tangerine, yeasty, very easy drinkable, medium body and carbonation, good one, it seems to be brewed at d’Arlon brewery now, sample @ Brassigaume Festival 2017 in Marbehan (BE).

Clear and blond with thin head. Aroma and flavour have some Orval-esque light funky yeast. Very grainy.

Sampled at Zythos 2017. Thnx for sharing, Ruben and Tim ! Pours rather clear blonde. OK white head. Smell is bit citrussy. Taste is mild malty. Mild citrus. OK

Thank you for sharing German speaking RB Crew! Sampled bottled @ ZBF 2017. Hazy citrus golden, white bubbles. Nose is weird lemon, citrus, oily hop, oil vegetable oil & sunflower seeds. Taste is poor vegetable oil, soap, sunflower oil, corn, sugar, poor,... Vegetable oil, sugar,... Poor stuff, disappointing more so having the Bastogne name attached to it by proxy.

The first beer from Brasserie d’Arlon, but brewed at Bastogne; hopped with Aramis, a relatively new aroma hop variety from the Alsace region in France. Thick, dense and creamy, snow white head, hazy yellow golden blonde robe. Aroma of camomile, ripe pear, lemon zest (clearly the Aramis at work here), butter, ginger, slight banana and a faint dash of diacetyl - this was clearly freshly made for the Zythos Bierfestival where I tasted it. Fruity, crisp onset, fizzy and bit minerally carbo, hints of apple and unripe banana, rounded pale malt sweetish middle, somewhat buttery mouthfeel, aromatic and drying hop finish, very floral with notes of citrus zest and fresh green kitchen herbs, but gently so. Very quenching, refreshing and elegantly aromatic beer, it’s hard to imagine this French hop variety to be used in a more flattering way. Nice surprise, actually.

Bottle. Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is funky and slight fruity. Bitter, bretty and funky. Mellow fruity. Mild fruity and slight bretty. Medium dry finish.

Clear pale straw yellow beer, big soapy like white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: grains, malty, hay, cow fodder, bit fruity. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: very sweet, sugary, malty, caramel. Aftertaste: soft bitterness, some citrus, fruity, ok beer.
