Tap at brewery. Amber color with medium off-white head. Moderate aroma of gingerbread, caramel, bready malt. Taste is clear gingerbread, caramel malt, spices. Good.

Tap at the brewery. The perník spices really are the key player here, defining the character. Not in an overwhelming intensity though, staying med-high overall. Otherwise there is moderate complementary nutty caramelly maltiness. Med-full body, moderate carbonation. Easy drinking, tasty, very good. Just what I needed today.

Draught at the brewpub. Clear, amber colored. AROMA- very pleasant, really gingerbread, strong clove and star anise. FLAVOR- smooth, neutral, slightly bitter, gingerbread again, spices. Medium bodied. Tasty.

Tap at the brewpub. Murky dark red-amber body. Lasting off white head. Lovely aroma, pure Speculaas / gingerbread. Speculaas, brown sugar and spices really dominate and make up for most of the very, very smooth taste. Just a very tasty spice beer!
