At Winter Beer Fest 2017, Waregem. Shared with Anke!
Cloudy black with a big, foamy beige head. Aroma of coffee roast & powder, mocha, some licorice, hint of iron, caramel, hops, barley & (roasted) malt. It tastes light to medium caramel-like sweet, quickly becoming medium roasted bitter; toasty, slightly alcoholic finish. Full (bordering on medium) body, slick (not yet oily) texture, fizzy carbonation (a tad too much). All in all, a welcoming addition to the Belgian beer landscape.

Taste is basic plastic coffee, chocolate, big black licorice, flat profile,... Body is plastic, mocha & licorice much like everything else. Far from exciting for an RIS in general but definitely far better than expected from this guys.
