Did you know that coffee has a lot of surprises? We all know this brown burnt beverage, but this beer contains the waste of the beans, wich is a lot less famous... Cascara is the cask of the coffee fruit, also called "cherry". Dried, it has the smell of raisin and tabacco, wich punch out trough this light blond beer. Mixed with a hop from New Zealand, it has a complex fruity caracter and a pleasant smell.

On tap at Beerstorming, with Travlr, kraddel, Miro and Hoon. Pours hazy golden yellow with white head. Malty, citrus, some coffee in finish, spicy. Bitter finish.

Tasting glass draft @ brewery. Very hazy orange, huge off-white head. Nose is weird acidic soy yoghurt, sour milky, strange white bread. Taste is weird herbal peel, yoghurt, sugar, spoiled grain, oily lemon, sugar, finish is some cascara which I believe they used here & for which I do not care. Body is oily cascara, pretty much flat. Whole seems weird, messy, unintended. Not a fan.
