six°north x Partizan collaboration. This dark, Abbey-style ale is a nod in the direction of well attenuated, Belgian classics.

Hints of dark fruits & spice mingle with sweet muscovado and a hint of chocolate.

On tap at Fakin Craft Beer, Zagreb. Shared with Vran. Dark brown, creamy off-white head. Fruity, cherry, dried fruit, light cardboard or wood, light metal, light alcohol, some toast. Flavour is metallic, toasty, nutty. Harsh. Light body, light finish, moderate carbonation, some hops present.

Tap at Fakin. Thanks Karlo! Dark chestnut body with a creamy beige head. Aroma... mead-like, fermented honey and some nutty notes, creamy. The taste's more akin to a mead than a Belgian dark too, fermented honey, phenols, ending bitterish. In my opinion, a sub-par take at the style.

Bottle kindly shared by Harrisoni at Partizan Brewing Tap. Shared with him and Finn. A patchy beige surface leaving dotted spots on the glass. Clear dark brown body. Decent smell of brown malts and dark fruits. Blended taste of prunes, earth, and yeasty fruitiness. Slightly roasted to the ending. Well bodied. Pretty nice. (Bermondsey, London 29.09.2018).
