For St. Wenceslas’ day, the patron of all brewers and Czech beer, we have brewed a special St. Wenceslas’ Desitka. It is our Desitka with added fresh Saaz Special hops. We used quite a lot of it, approximately 15 kg, both in boil and dry hopping. Harvest of fresh hops occurs only once a year at the end of August and beginning of September. That’s why this beer is unique not only because of its fresh hop aroma and taste, but also of its rare availability.

Bottle 0.75l. Slightly cloudy, gold colored. AROMA- malt, bread, spicy noble hops. FLAVOR- neutral, bitter, malty, bready, spicy and flowery hops. Light to medium bodied. Good.

Tap. Golden color with thick white head. Aroma of malt, bitter hops. Taste, solid malty base followed by bitter hops. Good.

Tap at Vršovická Galerie Piva. Misty yellow-golden body, white head. Yeasty aroma, sulphur, bready and light herbal touches. Rustic. The taste, however, is much much cleaner, nice smooth body, bready and pleasant herbal notes with a light bitterness. Tasty!
