Bad triple.

My first beer from this brewer, always pleased to taste a tripel from Belgium. I’m seeing less of the 750 ml bottles these days but that is not the case tonight. Lifting the cap before pouring inside of my ABGB tulip glass to see a pale yellow body and a consistent head of arctic white foam. The smell goes towards yellow fruit and yeast. I find the taste to be quite decent. Apricots, nectarines, grain, a hint of hops, honey and white bread. A fairly reserved drink, nothing that jumps out at me, but all right.

Good, lightly yellow head, fed by very lively carbonated clear yellow-golden beer. Spicy-yeasty nose, bit dry, green partly dried herbs, hint at diary, pale malts. Dry-ish, faint sweetness, pale malts. Faint toast and spices. Good carbonation; dry, but far from bone dry. Ever so slightly sticky, some gristslickness. And another tripel. Certainly not the worst, not the best. Why? 6/4/6/3/13
