Peak of Fluorescence DIPA (8.1% abv) brewed with Germany’s Fuerst Wiacek:
Hops don’t naturally fluoresce, but when you team up Fuerst Wiacek & Collective Arts and decide to make a Double IPA using some nuclear Citra & Nelson Sauvin hops, you can pretty much see this beer from outer space!

Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: cloudy orange color with a two finger white foamy head which slid off delicately to leave some light lace
Aroma: great dose of citrusy, piney to orangey and lemon-like hoppiness; mild malts in the background
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a nice bittersweet and semi-juicy sort of way; light aftertaste of piney and orangey hoppiness
Texture: medium bodied; good as a sipper; mellow smoothness along the tongue; light finish of juicy citrusy and piney hops
Overall: a very nicely done NEDIPA I would come back to.

Quarantine Beer #032 sampled at home on 03/29/2020. Cloudy golden color with a medium frothy white head that recedes gradually to a film. Sticky strings of lace. Piney hops, citrus and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of resiny hops, dank grapefruit and bready malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Can (2/5/20) pour. Appearance is opaque dark yellow-light brown with nice sparkle at the edges of the glass, finger-plus white foamy head with good retention and light soapy lacing. Aroma is citrus and vinous, yeasty fruit, grass; growing whiff of herb as it warms. Taste is moderately strong white grape, mild citrus and bubble gum; hint of herb. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with thick, frothy texture, pleasant alcohol warmth, average carbonation with mild stinging to the tip of the tongue initially and crisp finish as taste with almost-imperceptible bitterness. Overall, Peak of Fluorescence is, regrettably beyond Peak of Freshness, but couldn't locate a can until now--aroma and taste are likely more muted and less complex than otherwise.

16 oz. can. Date of 02/05/20. Bright, glowing hazy yellow. Aroma is bolder citrus, tropical, and straw note I always get from Nelson. I love this flavor combo. Tropical fruit, citrus, and straw or grass. Bitterness is lightly grassy. Juicy texture. Love this!

Can from Holiday Market. Pours a hazy gold with a finger of white foam that lingers. Creamy durian, muscat, dank pine and prickly pear aromas on the nose. Great mouthfeel with creamy pineapple, pine and dank flavors. Not overly sweet with some light prickly, piney bitterness that lingers into the finish. Very drinkable and clean beer.
